The Official Rules

TL;DR

  • 18+ and US- based to enter
  • Starts July 17 at 12:00am ET and runs through August 7 at 11:59pm ET.
  • Free to enter. Best build wins, judged on skill, not luck.
  • Register in the app, build a video game with Merget, and submit your repo link by August 7.
  • We'll score every entry out of 100. Using Merget well counts the most.
  • More signups means more prizes. Hit 1,000 and we give away 3 subscriptions instead of one.
  • Referring friends or posting can only help break a tie. It never changes your score and is never required.
  • You keep your code. Winners do a little paperwork, and prizes count as taxable income.
